Academic writing: motivation and creativity
We naturally tend to pay attention to what goes wrong, what is missing, what is not yet perfect. This critical attitude has been cultivated in science in particular.
But positive emotions have a beneficial influence on a thought process and can increase creativity. In that way, motivation and creativity are linked, and both are needed for writing.
